Epichealth Portarlington is proud to be participating in a research study focused on improving the way breathlessness is identified and diagnosed in general practice.
Breathlessness, or feeling short of breath, is a common symptom that can affect people of all ages. It may be linked to a range of health conditions and can sometimes be overlooked or difficult to diagnose. This research aims to improve the early identification of breathlessness so patients can receive the most appropriate care.
What does this mean for our patients?
Over the next 12 months, you may notice a few questions about breathlessness included in the SMS link you receive before your scheduled appointment at Epichealth Portarlington.
Completing these questions is entirely voluntary. Choosing not to participate will not affect the care you receive from our team in any way.
