Epichealth Portarlington Welcomes Dr. Damien Spillane
We are thrilled to announce the latest addition to our esteemed medical team at Epichealth Portarlington. Please join us in extending a warm welcome to Dr. Damien Spillane, GP Registrar, MBBS (Hons), BSc.
Currently undergoing training with the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine as a Rural Generalist, Dr. Spillane’s journey has taken him across various regions, including the Northern Territory. Now, he returns to Victoria with a renewed commitment to advancing general practice.
Dr. Spillane’s academic pursuits led him through a rigorous education, culminating in a postgraduate Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery at Monash University in Victoria, following his earlier studies in biomedical science at the University of Queensland.
His interests span a wide spectrum, from chronic disease management, indigenous health, and diabetes, to mental health, children’s health, and preventative medicine.
Outside of the clinic, Damien’s interests reflect his vibrant personality. Whether he’s immersing himself in nature, exploring new destinations, enjoying the rhythms of music on sound systems, or whipping up culinary delights from around the world (watch out for his signature chili dishes!), Dr. Spillane is a true aficionado of life’s diverse pleasures.
