Dr Michael Aizen
MBBS (Melb) BHA (NSW) FRACGP FRACMA FACRRM
Michael is the founding doctor at Epichealth Mornington, opening the clinic to patients over 3 years ago. Michael has over 40 years’ experience as a GP and has demonstrated a lifelong commitment to patient care. Michael has served in many high profile positions, most notably as AMA President of Tasmania and a Federal AMA Councillor for many years. He has been made a Fellow of the Australian Medical Association for his services to the organisation.
Michael has a caring and thorough approach with his patients and practises the full range of family medicine. He has a special interest in chronic disease management, aged care, children’s health and skin cancer medicine. In his spare time, Michael loves travelling the world with his wife Jill and spending time with his six grandchildren who also live on the Mornington Peninsula.
Dr Louisa (Lili) Jones
MBChB, MRCGP (UK) FRACGP DRCOG DCH DFFP
Originally from the UK, Lili trained as a Doctor in Manchester and the West Midlands and has been a GP for more than 10 years. She migrated to Australia 7 years ago and spent the first five years working in a practice In the Blue Mountains before settling in Victoria to join family. She has a wealth of experience in family medicine and is particularly interested in women’s health, child development, geriatrics and palliative care. She also has experience with mental health issues and learning disabilities.
Lili is a passionate advocate of preventative medicine and has a strong interest in chronic disease management and aged care. Her work with chronic medical conditions involves consideration of individual needs and circumstances and a team approach to assessments and reviews. With her practical and down to earth style, Lili is popular with patients of all ages.
Dr Stacey Rope
Stacey has over 25 years’ experience as a GP on the Mornington Peninsula and in rural Victoria. He joined Epichealth, along with all of his loyal patients, over two years ago.
Stace originally graduated with his Bachelors of Medicine and Surgery at Monash University in 1972. He commenced his medical career in the Australian Army, working for 16 years in the armed forces and holding numerous clinical positions and command roles. Stace completed a Masters’ in Public Health and his pioneering research into Alcoholism, Cigarette Smoking and Psychiatric Morbidity in the Australian Army led to some major policy changes to improve which has improved the overall health of our armed forces.
Having worked as an army doctor and then as a family doctor in rural locations for over 25 years, its fair to say Stacey has ‘seen it all’ when it comes to general practice. A true people person, Stace has a caring, empathetic manner and a quick witted sense of humour which sees him relate well to patients from all walks of life. Stace has a loyal patient base with a special interest in mental health, aged care and chronic disease management. In his spare time, Stace loves working on his cars and motorbikes and freshening up on his knowledge of war history and the history of the Mornington Peninsula.
Dr Ben Stranks
MBChB (Hons), BSc (Hons), DCH, DRCOG, MRCGP, FRACGP
Dr Ben Stranks is a friendly and caring GP originally from Adelaide. He has recently returned from the UK where he has been working as a GP for the last seven years. Ben has a very caring and empathetic approach and his patients find him easy to talk to. Ben has extensive experience in Women’s and Children’s Health (including Paediatric Mental Health) and holds Diplomas in Child Health, Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Ben also has a strong interest in palliative care, aged care and mental health.
Mornington Clinic Team – Practice Nurses
Diane Gluyas RN
Diane has 17 years practice experience as a nurse and has worked in a wide range of general practice, hospital and community health settings. As Epichealth’s Nurse Coordinator, Diane combines her practical nursing activities with clinical leadership which sees her actively promoting the role of the practice nurse in the delivery of patient care. Diane is passionate about health promotion and leads many preventative health initiatives for at risk patient groups with the support of our GPs. She particularly loves helping patients with the challenge of managing chronic disease as this is an area where the role of the nurse is crucial in achieving positive health outcomes. With her warm and caring approach, Diane connects with patients of all ages. Diane is also active in our local community as she has a young family and has lived on the Mornington Peninsula for the last 20 years.
Renae & Joanne
Our lovely practice nurses Renae and Joanne are brilliant at managing chronic disease and supporting our patients young and old with their medical procedures. Both Renae and Joanne are mums and their fun and firm approach to childhood immunisations makes these visits as pain free as possible for our youngest patients.
Mornington Clinic Team – Dietitian
Working as a Clinical Dietitican across private practice, hospital and community health settings Jess is passionate about promoting optimal health for individuals through good nutrition and a healthy lifestyle. She is a university qualified expert in nutrition and provides professional, evidence-based care which is tailored to each individual. With her bright and bubbly personality, Jess strives to motivate and provide friendly advice, helping others to place nutrition and health as a priority in their life. Patients who see Jess can expect simple, practical and sustainable nutrition solutions, whether it be for improved health and well-being or to manage a diet related problem or chronic disorder.

As Practice Coordinator, Karen leads our reception team and is responsible for maintaining a high standard of patient service. Karen prides herself on her friendly and professional customer service and her dedication to continued training of our admin staff. Through this training, Karen ensures our admin team are best equipped to support the needs of our patients.

Our friendly reception team of Sarah, Anna, Amanda and Gemma love the day to day interaction with patients and being able to help our patients find the doctor and appointment time that’s right for them.

Standard consultation fees
Our standard consultation fees are as follows:

More complex consultations and medical procedures attract a higher fee.
A fee of $75 is charged for patients who do not attend at their booked time and don’t provide at least 1 hours’ notice with no Medicare rebate available.
All nurses visits attract a fee per visit to cover the cost of our nurses’ time and incidental medical consumables. This can be discussed with you at your visit.
No out of pocket cost on consultation for Pensioners, Health Care Card Holders and patients under 16 years
Epichealth recognises the need to provide subsidised access to medical services for the following patients at our Mornington clinic:
Patients who hold a valid Health Care Card, Pensioner Concession Card or Veterans Gold Cards; and
Children who are under 16 years of age.
We are pleased to confirm that there will be no out of pocket costs on consultations for concession patients.
Medical procedures are privately billed for all patients. Please enquire about the cost of your procedure at the time of booking. Nurse Visits All nurses visits attract a fee per visit to cover the cost of our nurses’ time and incidental medical consumables. This can be discussed with you at your visit.
All payments are required in full on the day of the consultation. Please present your Medicare Card and Health Care Card to reception on arrival. We accept cash, EFTPOS and credit card (Mastercard or Visa) no American Express or Diners Club cards or personal cheques. On the Spot Medicare rebates Our friendly Reception team will assist you to claim your Medicare rebate on the spot using your Medicare Card.
